What they say about us

Sawday's logo
In Alistair Sawday’s Secret Places to Stay, they write:

Peaceful, close to the sea and in the heart of popular Hove, this Victorian villa is a friendly town treat. Bedrooms on the top floor are furnished in an eclectic style, mixing antique finds with quirky light-fittings; art books, flowers and splashes of colour complete the picture. Dexter and Liz give you a vegetarian breakfast feast: muesli, fruit salad, patisseries fresh from the bakery that morning, eggs, smoked salmon, hash browns.

Liz runs mosaic courses in the garden studio and her wonderful work decorates the house. Dozens of cafés and bistros are on the doorstep; Brighton is a 20-minute amble along the promenade.
